The practice found its way into Chantal’s life at a critical juncture. In a desperate effort to ease physical pain, mental dullness, and emotional fatigue, she discovered Yoga through a YouTube video by Tara Stiles and began her practice in her pajamas, on an old area rug at home. Since then, incorporating mindful breath, movement, and stillness into her everyday has gifted her with healing, recovery, and the will to redirect her personal course. Being chatty by nature and a former lecturer at a local university, sharing yoga through group classes and Teacher Trainings felt intrinsic and fulfills her avidity for fostering connections and sharing the gift of the practice with others.

Ria believes that change begins with awareness and is nurtured by kindness, curiosity and compassion. She credits her yin yoga practice for cultivating these attitudes, especially as it reminds her of the value of taking a pause, paying attention, and grounding in rest. As an educator in various types of learning environments for over 24 years, she hopes to co-create nourishing spaces that empower others in discovering their personal path to wellness. She offers trauma-informed, mental health aware, mindful and compassionate care through body positive and accessible movement, meditation and psychotherapy.

A proponent of the "slow is strong" philosophy, Jane's yoga practice focuses on asana foundations and deliberate movement. She enjoys teaching slow and steady flows, sprinkling her classes with creative and challenging poses every now and then. Jane battled a medical condition that prompted her to slow down, and yoga became her way to manage physical pain and cultivate mental and emotional strength. Jane believes that intentional movement and transitions help maximize not only her students' physical resilience, but also improve their mental flexibility, emotional balance, and their connection with their own spiritual anchor.
