Creative Lab: Ink and Wash Workshop

Class Description

Ink & Wash for Absolute Beginners -- A relaxed, hands-on introduction to drawing with ink and adding watercolor washes—designed especially for people who think they “can’t draw.” In this three-hour workshop, we’ll explore the basics of ink and wash through simple, approachable exercises. We’ll practice making confident lines, simplifying what we see into basic shapes, adding light and shadow, and using watercolor to bring color and atmosphere into our drawings. No drawing or watercolor experience is needed. There’s no pressure to create a perfect piece—the workshop is about learning to observe, making your first marks, and discovering just how much you can create with a few lines and washes. You’ll explore: - Simple line and contour drawing - Looking for shapes instead of details - Basic watercolor washes and values - Light, shadow, and texture - Sketching an everyday object - Creating trees with ink and watercolor Advance registration required. Limited to 10 slots only. Non-refundable, but transferable. 🗓 October 17, Saturday 🕐 1:00–4:00 PM 📍 Curious Coffee, BF Homes 🎟 ₱1,699 per person 🎨 Inclusive of facilitator fee and art materials that are yours to keep!
